Medical College and KEM Hospital, he completed his M.D. in Pathology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College. His career includes six years of specialist practice across the West Yorkshire region in the UK, where he worked in endocrinology, immuno-chemistry, chemical pathology, and quality management.

His special interests span laboratory management, quality control, automated analyser operations, trace metals and toxicology, metabolic medicine, and the evaluation of new diagnostic assays. Dr. Bathia has presented at numerous international conferences and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals.
